Hello fellow fashion style moguls, how have you been? The weekend is finally here, what are you up to? We come to the season finale of talking about carrot pants! I believe I have told you everything there is to tell about this little number, so why don’t we get real and personal and talk about reality versus expectations!!
This past week my life has been a roller coaster that all goes down, where do I start? I wouldn’t know where, however, there are things that society, our family members and friends expect us to fulfill and those things become invisible rules imposed on us because they have to be done. What happens when you are not able to fulfill those things? Now that is what I call reality check. A lot of things happen when you fail to fulfill those obligations, the people in your life are disappointed even though they might not say it out loud or show it on their faces and there is the disappointment from within you which pierces you deep down sharply especially if you wanted to make them proud. That is exactly what I have been feeling lately, like a mere failure and the guilt has been eating me slowly but surely to a point of wishing for the Lord to take me already. My birthday is next week and I do not think I am where I wanted to be or where I should be in my opinion, so today I talked to an intelligent woman and she was telling me that it is okay not to have accomplished what I wanted by now, it is okay not to have everything figured out already because there is always a right time for everything. Nothing is perfect, not even the society that expects us to live, behave or accomplish things in a certain way, hell even my skin ain’t perfect thus I have to use makeup and Photoshop(sometimes) to appear flawless. My point is not that we should condone failure, NO, my point is that it is okay to let things fall into place on their own time frame, there are things that you can plan for and there are others that you just have to do your part and let the high Deity do the rest. It is not easy to trust in the process but it is the best thing we can do to be peaceful in our hearts, I hope I get that peace soon……..to be continued……. Thank you for reading.
I paired my carrot pants with a crop top and pair of peep toe boots, the weekend is clearly here!#team fun!!
