I hate to play favorites, but if I was to pick one ‘70s trend to adopt, it would have to be the button-front A-line skirt. This season, strong iterations in both denim and suede have been spotted everywhere which means there’s a variety to choose from!
If you’re looking for a new piece to jazz up your off-duty repertoire this season, this little number should be your go to staple. A more interesting interpretation of just about every skirt out there, this versatile style offers a crazy easy way to up your style game with zero effort, literally no efforts involved — an idea I can totally get behind. Whether you decided to cater to its throwback vibe or take it down the sports luxe route with a classic tee and casual kicks, there’s a button front skirt to suit every style, all you gotta do is get yourself one!
The reason am in love with this trend is it’s massive versatility. It can be styled on a cold day or a hot day and the skirt can either be short or long which means one cannot go wrong in terms of the length. On a warm day one can pair the denim version with lighter colors and sandals or one can try the denim on denim for a casual cool look. On a chilly summer day pair your skirt with a comfy cashmere sweater, trench coat/winter coat, and boots. And one more thing, no pair of shoes is wrong when it comes to rocking this little number, am talking about sneakers, sandals, heels, boots or any pair of flats. For a Monday look as a stylist, I decided to style my buttoned front skirt with a black top, a floral kimono and a pair of lace up heels!
In a world full of trends, I want to remain a classic#Iman
Stay fashionable, stay stylish and be a fashion style mogul!
