Hey fellow fashion style moguls, I’ve been doing exercises from my childhood. I ran different races and during physical exercise classes on the time table, I remember being among the most active students, lol! When I went to high school, I went deeper and all I wanted was a flat tummy (don’t we all?). When I joined campus, I found out that there was more to a rocking body than just the abs and a flat tummy. Due to my changed mindset, I decided to join a gym at Impala club. My trainer was tough on me but I eventually started seeing the results and after one year of training I felt confident enough to do it on my own. It’s been 4 years and am still very passionate about keeping fit. I keep up with the latest exercise trends and I have to say Pilates are still the exercises after my own heart.
I am a foodie and I love to cook foreign dishes or as others would prefer to call them International cuisine and with this combination, calories become your unwanted visitor. My mum sometimes tells me to take it easy on the food (how embarrassing!). I also train people and give advice on what to eat and what to walk away from in order to achieve their desired body.
In this fitness section, I will be showing you how to get that desired body without having to literally go to the gym. Isn’t that what we all want? You will also learn that there are other alternatives to a diet or yoga to get your desired body. We as fashion style moguls take charge of our bodies to lead healthy lives. There are many exercises to help you get that fit body you desire; yoga, karate, jogging, boxing and Pilates among others. I will be showcasing different Pilates exercises. As we proceed you will learn all there is to know about Pilates from their origin, their benefits, how to differentiate them from yoga down to how the moves are done.
Exercise is to be fit, not skinny. You have to earn you desired body and it will not be easy but it will be worth it and you can wake up feeling sore or sorry tomorrow, the choice is yours. Start now and don’t give up because the only bad exercise is the one that didn’t happen. Exercises don’t get in the way of life; they just add the quality of life and their side effects are good health and happiness (who wouldn’t want that?). I live you with Nike’s motto;
just do it and do it again!
Stay fashionable, stay stylish and be a fashion style mogul!
