A couple of weeks ago, my mum told me “it’s time”, at first I didn’t know what to say or what to think because I thought I was either being kicked out or married off, it’s Africa, expect anything my loves. She went ahead and said that it was time for me to move out, at least this was almost close to one of my guesses. She explained how I needed to start being independent and living on my own would be a great start, I was skeptical at first but as I started thinking about it and she had a valid point.
I was initially scared because that meant more responsibilities and the constant reminder that am growing older but then I realized that change brings growth and ain’t that what we are all striving for? I am very excited about looking for a house so that I can start a fresh and not forgetting that leaving behind some humans that find pleasure in taking my energy, youth and will to live, literally but that’s a story for another day though.
On today’s outfit, I styled the look with a slit skirt that I wore last week on one of my posts and added a pair of sneakers for a perfect OOTD especially to hang with friends or run errands. Do we love or hate this look?
