A few weeks ago I told you guys that I had a shoot at an art gallery which was pure bliss. I decided to dress in Ankara for all the different shoots at the Art gallery because I wanted everything to blend in well and guess what? It did!!
What is painting anyway? Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a solid surface (support base). The medium is commonly applied to the base with a brush, but other implements, such as knives, sponges, and airbrushes, can be used.
Painting is a mode of creative expression, and the forms are numerous. Drawing, gesture (as in gestural painting), composition, narration (as in narrative art), or abstraction (as in abstract art), among other aesthetic modes, may serve to manifest the expressive and conceptual intention of the practitioner. Paintings can be naturalistic and representational (as in a still life or landscape painting), photographic, abstract, narrative, symbolistic (as in Symbolist art), emotive (as in Expressionism), or political in nature (as in Artivism).
The artist in this particular post loves to use charcoal on his art work which amazed me and his artwork was full of emotions. I decided to wear a white and black ankara dress and carry a black clutch that added elegance to the whole look. I even tried to use the charcoal to color some paintings but I already confirmed that painting is not my talent but am not giving up yet.
Ps, this art gallery series will be a long one, so buckle up sweethearts and enjoy the ride with me!!
Thank you for stopping by. Stay fashionable, stay stylish and be a fashion style mogul!
