What is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it#Saint Laurent
Happy Mondays fellow fashion style moguls! It’s one week before Christmas week and most people are taking a leave from work which means no formal wear!! I have always had an affinity for short dresses, I think it comes with the fact that I believe that I should insure my legs like Heidi Klum because of all the exercises and walking in heels that they are forced to do but hey, that is what they signed up for, right?
Short dresses are a wardrobe essential for all seasons and looks, from minimalistic simplicity to casual boxy and softer shapes. They can be paired with any kind of shoe from boots, sneakers, sandals and any type of heels. They can also be paired with any or no accessory to suit a casual day look or a girls night out, hell even a date look!
When I say short dresses, I do not mean trashy short where the butt can be seen upon bending, heel no!! I mean short and tasty that show the legs a bit and leave a lot for the imagination. My grandmother always had a problem with me wearing short dresses since back in the day and she still does to this day, I still got a lot of love her though.
All in all, it’s time to get your short dresses out because there are a lot of parties going down this festive season and prepare to turn up!! As long as the short dress is appropriate for the location and demographic of people and exudes class then don’t be afraid to get your short dresses out of the closets and rock them.
I decided to showcase this black and white stripped short dress for the Monday post because of how cute it is and one actually wear it on a casually wear it on a Monday. I added a pair of orange strappy heels to break the black and white monotony and off course add a little pizzazz to the look. Do you own any short dresses? Let me know on the comment box below.
Stay fashionable, stay stylish and be a fashion style mogul.
